For my final assignment in Animation, I had to make a film poster on Photoshop about my Film Festival animation. I chose to keep a simple design, with a flower in the center and a grassy field behind it. The sky has a mixture of prior cloud filter tools and paint mixing white into the sky. The field is blended together colors of greens and browns. At the bottom I included the information for the Festival.

Sometimes in Animation, you will need a background image for your animations. Because realistic backgrounds clash with the surrealism of cartoon animation, it looks better to have a background with a more fitting and uniform design. By learning how to convert a beautiful scenery into a painting-like image, I can create my own animation backgrounds without having to start from scratch. Here, I used the color select tool to being painting the basic shapes of the waterfall, rocks, and water using the natural colors of the photograph. After painting out the basic shapes, I blended them all together using the wet paint and heavy mix tools. I used heavy downwards strokes on the waterfall to create the illusion of individual streams, and I dragged my paintbrush around the water to simulate a current.
For this assignment, I used the stamp tool to make 2 additional bunnies, transforming one to be much smaller than the other 2. I then used the color replacement tool to change the hues of the two rabbits I made, making one more brown and the other more pink. I then removed the left ear of the smallest rabbit, and used the stamp tool to duplicate the right ear. I flipped that ear horizontally so that I could match it up with his head. Finally, I removed the tooth from the mouth of the original rabbit so that each individual one has something unique to them.
